Almost Poetic - Anton Lachky / VERVE 16

Almost Poetic is a celebration of young energy both real and surreal. What is normal for us and what is normal for them? Almost Poetic questions the nature of story telling without words.

Choreographed by Anton Lachky, Almost Poetic displays his signature blistering speed and sharpness, as well as a host of weird and wonderful characters.

Almost Poetic featured the entire cast of VERVE 16, under the Artistic Direction of Gianluca Vincentini, with lights by Luke Haywood and costume by Melissa Burton.

This piece (and my experience in VERVE 16) played a vital role in my artistic development. It was one of the first moments where I felt I had permission to be myself.
