Paper Moon - Shaper/Caper

Paper Moon is a magical and interactive adventure performance for families and children under the age of 5. The piece follows a young hero Poppy and her trusty dog Peppy as they set off to rescue MoonMoo: the cow that jumped over the moon…but got stuck!

Through a mixture of dance, games, fun and play, the cast and audience build a rocket ship and fly off to the moon to save the day.

Choreographed and directed by Thomas Small, Paper Moon was created at Cumbernauld Theatre, premiering in 2018 and running for 29 shows. Returning for a Scottish tour in 2019.

Performed in the round, the work features 2 dancers, with set and costume design by Janis Hart and dramaturgical support by Sheila Allan.
